Before you begin

Welcome to Minds at Play!

This registration form will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. The more detail you provide, the better we can understand your needs and thoughtfully pair participants — so don’t hold back!

Please note that Minds at Play programs are paid services, with each term enrolment offered at a flat fee of $750 per program.

Each term runs for 9 to 10 weeks, aligned with the NSW school terms. We can’t wait to welcome you into the program!

Program Details

How we group our participants

As part of the registration process, we’ll ask for your preferred days and timeslots. This helps us match participants with a group that aligns with their availability. While we do our very best to accommodate your preferences, placements depend on a range of factors — including group availability and current openings.

In the rare instance that we’re unable to place you in a group that fits your selected preferences, we’ll be in touch to suggest alternative options before confirming anything further.

We occasionally need to make contact and would like to know who is best to serve as the primary contact for this account.

Participant Disclosures

Let us know anything important to help us support the participant safely and positively.
Example: Lucy is working on speaking and expressing her ideas within group settings. She can become shy but has beautiful ideas when given the space to articulate them.
Example: Jayden is very patient and considerate of others when working within a group setting. He enjoys helping others and sharing what he can to make them comfortable.
Example: Jiro has ASD and is non-verbal. They prefer to use text to communicate and therefore may need time to respond.
Example: Remi has sensitivities to loud and persistent noises and would benefit being placed into a quieter group
Example: Quinn loves Minecraft but can sometimes become frustrated if his buildings or possessions are destroyed. We are practising internal de-escalation and would appreciate it if staff could help remind and encourage Quinn if these events occur.
