2024 TERM 3

Registrations for Dungeons and Dragons Social Program for Term 3 2024 opening soon.
Embark on an unforgettable adventure and experience the magic of Dungeons and Dragons in a fun, social, and inclusive environment.

Minds at Play recognises the challenges often associated with engaging children, youth and adults with disabilities. Our participants get to have a positive social experience while playing fantasy-based role-playing games, in a safe environment.

Available for ages 8 and up, our Dungeons & Dragons program is a social gaming adventure for children, youth, and adults on the Autism Spectrum. The program runs online for 2 or 2.5 hours (depending on the age group) a week during a school term.

Our bespoke adventures are carefully crafted to provide engaging social encounters and promote teamwork. Through thrilling quests and imaginative storytelling, players will embark on a journey that encourages communication, boosts confidence, and fosters social growth. Our dedicated team ensures a safe, inclusive, and supportive space where everyone can shine.

What we’ll work on

  • Collaboration– by working as a group to achieve a common goal
  • Joint problem-solving, sharing and turn-taking – taking turns in their roles, working together to achieve an outcome
  • Gain Confidence– Through bonding over the adventure
  • Creativity– in solution to problems and puzzles presented
  • Emotional development– learning to understand and talk about emotions (their own and other people’s), conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
